Over / Under Goals Tips Today
Over / under tips are about how many goals a match will have, not who wins it. Here are our over / under tips for the next few days with the goal line and the price, each graded when the match ends.
How over / under betting works
The bookmaker sets a goal line, usually 2.5. Over 2.5 wins when the match has three goals or more, and under 2.5 wins when it has two or fewer. A whole line such as 2 returns the stake when the match ends with exactly that many goals.
Quarter lines split the stake. Over 2.75 is half on 2.5 and half on 3: with exactly three goals the 2.5 half wins and the 3 half is returned, so you win half; with four or more goals both halves win. Under works the other way round.
How these tips are made
Our automatic model reads the bookmaker prices, takes the bookmaker margin out of each market and fits one goal model to all of them, so every selection is scored on the same numbers. It then keeps the picks whose own expected return is not poor.
Every tip is time-stamped before kick-off, graded from the final score and never deleted, so the record on the Verified record page is the whole record, wins and losses together.
Over / Under tips: questions
What is an over / under tip?
A tip that a match will have more (over) or fewer (under) goals than a line, for example "Over 2.5 goals". Only the total of both teams counts, extra time excluded.
Does the first half count?
Only for tips marked (HT) or "1st half", which are graded on the half-time score. Every other tip uses the full-time score.
What happens when the total lands on the line?
On a whole line the stake is returned and the tip is recorded as a draw. On a quarter line half the stake wins or loses.
Are the over / under tips free?
Some are free to read in full; the strongest picks of the day are VIP tips for members.
Do these tips guarantee a profit?
