1. Overview
This policy explains how GoalWhiz (goalwhiz.xyz) handles personal data when you visit the site, create an account or buy a plan. We collect only what we need to run the site, and we do not sell your personal data.
2. What we collect
- Account data: username, email address, first and last name if you give them, and your password (stored only as a hash, never in plain text).
- Purchase data: the plan you bought, the amount, the payment method, the transaction ID and the dates your access starts and ends. Card numbers and wallet keys are handled by the payment provider and never reach us.
- Technical data: your IP address, an approximate country worked out from it, browser and device type, the pages you open and the time you open them.
- Preferences kept in your browser: for example the teams you mark as favourites and the display options you choose. These stay on your device.
- Messages: what you write to us by email, and our replies.
3. Why we use it
- to create and secure your account and to sign you in;
- to deliver the VIP access you paid for, send receipts and tell you when a plan is about to end;
- to send you the codes you ask for, such as a password reset code;
- to show content and banners that fit your country and to hide banners from VIP members;
- to measure how the site is used, find faults and improve it;
- to prevent fraud, abuse and sharing of accounts, and to meet legal duties.
Where the law asks for a legal basis, we rely on performing our contract with you (account and plans), our legitimate interests (security, analytics, improving the site) and, where required, your consent (for example optional cookies).
4. Cookies and similar tools
We use cookies and local storage that are needed for the site to work, such as keeping you signed in. We also use analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how the site is used, and a cookie that stores the country we detect so we do not look it up on every page. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may then stop working.
When you click a banner, we count the click on our own server and then send you to the advertiser. The advertiser's site may set its own cookies and has its own privacy policy.
5. Who we share data with
We share data only with companies that help us run the site, and only what they need:
- payment providers (such as PayPal and a crypto payment provider) to take and confirm your payment;
- an email service to send you receipts, codes and notices;
- hosting and storage providers that keep the site and its data running;
- analytics and IP-location services that help us measure use and detect your country;
- authorities, if the law requires it or to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not give advertisers your name or email address.
6. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where that happens we expect them to protect it to a standard that fits the law that applies.
7. How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is open. Purchase records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and dispute handling. Technical logs are kept for a short period. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data, except what we must keep by law.
8. Security
We protect data with passwords stored as hashes, encrypted connections and limited access for staff. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password and keep it private.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, export it, object to or limit some uses, withdraw consent you gave, and complain to your data protection authority. To use any of these rights, write to [email protected] from your account email with the subject Privacy. We may need to check it is really you before we act.
10. Children
The site is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is important, we will tell you on the site or by email.
12. Contact
